I have been super surprised with the information I've been able to gather just from the people I interact with every day.

Home purchases are emotional for non-investors and there is a need for the human interaction to solve all the nuances that occur when making what could be the largest investment of their life.

I am actively involved in real estate investment and self manage my 11 units, interacting with tenants often. 

THEN the brokers will start coming around.I dont have a ton of experience in this realm other than a few Multi's i have brokered over the years.. but my interaction with commercial brokers is such that one they are no BS guys the normal stuff a resi broker will do or put up with these guys and gals wont.they will cut you out in a blink of an eye..

But ill start interacting on the forums a lot more and see if I can maybe get a meetup started out here, I believe it would be totally beneficial to the community.

If you attend local meetups in your area you can interact and learn from experienced investors which can enable you to learn more about your specific market.
