We own our properties in land trusts so if you look on public record, you won't see MapleStar's name anywhere and MapleStar Property Management LLC is the property manager.

I don't know.. but what I do know is I would not do anything with any significant money unless I retained a local attorney in the market you want to invest in.case in point.. there was a big Timber deal being shopped in the north west in BAJA Norte  .. we were interested but its all in spansih and shoot I did not know.. and it was a big play multi multi millions with the need for roads and building a Mill etc etc.So I hired Mason Bruce and Gerard in CA ..

But if it provides a quick way to get from inland to the cities where the jobs are, it could make it a lot more feasible for people to commute in from the valley.If I wanted to really make a play on this, I would probably buy a big swath of land that is not great for agriculture (so can get a good deal on it for it's current low utility), that would have reasonable high-speed rail access next to an established city - maybe something like Merced.
