Hi all, So I'm the highest bid on an online auction house but I can't test the water - or septic system (lansing mi).

In the West Michigan markets you can find 10+ if you're patient.

AFAIK, in MI it is illegal to take a deposit to hold a unit.

I am knowledgeable about my real estate market in Traverse City, Michigan, I have a cousin that is a real estate agent, so i have access to the MLS, I have done research about what townships sell the most houses, at what prices, and the similarities about the houses sold.  

Shorewood is small, ranges from middle class to high end huge mansions close to Lake Michigan and I'll bet 90+% of the housing stock is pre-1970, a lot of it going back to the 1920's or earlier.
