As I write this, Global business is effectively grounded.

Maybe lease up takes an extra month, but at the end of the day, if it really is a good deal, an extra month of vacancy won't effect things.

My wife and I will be having a kid soon and want to basically duplicate what we have done with our first home but with a bigger house.

Given the trend of the past few days (written on 03/16/20) and the impact on the services industry and soon to be reverberating effects on the overall economy, I'm worried about tenants not being able to meet their rent obligations. 

No matter how well trained or well behaved, pets will cause damage... 

Mitigation can be expensive, and I don't know if everyone who sleeps here will be effected, or only EMF sensitive people.- Has anyone else run into this issue or anything similar?

Glad you didn't pull the plug...So easy to let what's happening now effect your start. 

I use the line or something to the effect " Iam thinking of buying the building next door and just wanted to meet the owner."  

What's everyone's thoughts on the current 0% interest rate and its potential effects on higher valued markets such as LA and it's surrounding cities?

In my area, utilities are in tenant's name and tenant responsibility, which is how it should be having been stuck before with tenant water bills in WA and MD.
