EMF mitigation? Should I do it?

George Lambrakis
Posted

I recently bought my first house. I'm doing a live-&-fix that I want to rent out.

On my second or third day sleeping here, I started experiencing horrible headaches, mind-fog, and fatigue.  Long story short, I tracked it down to EMF exposure.  - I bought a device that detects EMF and found that there are extremely high electric fields in EVERY room.  ( I have temporarily remedied it by killing the power to most of the house at the breaker )

My experience matches the descriptions of EMF sensitivity. I will probably call a building-biologist after corona allows.

But my questions are here:

- Now that I know the building has an EMF problem, am I obligated to pay for mitigation?  Mitigation can be expensive, and I don't know if everyone who sleeps here will be effected, or only EMF sensitive people.

- Has anyone else run into this issue or anything similar?

- With EMF awareness increasing all the time, perhaps marketing this as an EMF-free house might attract the right tenants.. ( ..Is this stretching?  I have no experience marketing to renters.)

I am in Jacksonville FL if that helps.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.
