The outlets needed to be relocated but we left most of the wall in place to use to support the island. 

People are scared to death to relocate now and/or can't afford a room due to inflation (even with a promotion) and/or don't need to relocate for a job due to a strong job market and/or are working remotely.

I have "boots on the ground" in much cheaper areas out of state (hello, College Station, TX), but unless I'm willing to relocate myself there (or otherwise spend significant time there), I can't convince myself that investing out-of-state is the wiser move (for myself).

Well I'd be offering to pay cash for people whose homes are in foreclosure in an effort to help them relocate for the deed to the place.

I do know pest control treatments fall under the guidelines here in KY which has been useful to me for unit inspection b/c my buddy owns a pest control company, just saying.I don't believe I would state the unit is inhabitable to the housing commission b/c they might hold you responsible for her temporary re-location until its repaired.
