I guess I am in more of the learning phase right now, but really eager and excited to find my first deal.I work in agriculture retail and got interested in real estate through the research I have been doing through the FIRE community.

I went with a rather nice place hoping that I would be able to find a quality roommate, but the Air BnB idea seems more exciting to me. 

It's very exciting to think about doing real estate, but it's super easy to lose a lot of money if you don't know what you're doing!

BTW, we love in the 2/1 with plans to move out of that in the Spring when we want to become workampers and travel full-time.

I fly there, rent a car, and stay in one of my properties, with a friend, or in a hotel.I don’t want to travel there, learn anything about the market, or educate myself is this strategy for me?

I know I’m super inexperienced but I’ve been doing a lot studying on real estate investing and I’m very excited to meet other investors and learn more.

I love to travel and want to be able to do it more often without the tie down of a day to day job, not only for myself but also for my future family.Currently on my journey I am starting to dip my hands into gaining as much knowledge as possible, starting my relationship journey by attempting to build my key team, and preparing a plan that will weather storms.I am a veteran and want to start my journey house hacking and using 0 down VA on a multi-family rental, to eventually move on to more multi-families.I currently live in the North New Jersey area, so if you are around, want to chat, have some ideas, need some ideas (I can be creative at times) let me know!

The long term plan for this would be to rent it for a few years, make some improvements, have some fun with my family when the unit is not booked and a few years out 1031 to something more exciting. 

While we anticipate Florida to be our homestead we also love to travel and would like to be mobile for at least part of the year (possibly RV travel).

As our girls are getting older and starting to travel their more we are getting tired of hotels.
