There is a property for sale that I drive by everyday and I am not sure if it’s worth diving into/if it could be a good deal.  

The property has some opportunity to increase square footage and turn one of the units into a duplex unit and drive the rent a bit higher, but I originally planned to improve the property before refinancing to get some cash out.     

That’s another drive to refinance these loans.

If you're concerned that you won't be able to find a deal later down the road: I wouldn't let speculation drive a decision beyond your risk appetite.

About the location: the property is roughly 20 acres located near Henniker New Hampshire, about 90 minutes driving from Boston, close to a popular winter ski area and summer camping and vacationing area. 

We had actually tried driving around and putting together a spreadsheet of all the houses that were in need of TLC that we were going to try to buy off market, but then ours wound up working out.

Option D) Eat the inspections cost, walk away, send “I want to buy your house without commissions” direct mail or drive for dollars or hook up with a wholesaler, find a better house for less that hasn’t flooded.

However this is driving up the prices of the rundown houses.
