Ive had a number of clients who were foreign, but I think in my market, the DC metro area that is fairly common.

I have observed that it is common for homeowners in the area to rent out a basement, so i have adjusted my search accordingly for my primary residence, and i am going to expand my search radius to find the multi-family Im looking for.
