Tarek and Christina don't even seem to have a "secret" if you watch the TV show.  

But, you're probably getting ripped.Some of Eddie's affiliate students/teachers have been on here pumping the classes.In three days or a week, you'll learn how to invest in Eddie's network, you aren't learning the note business so muchI had a lady contact me here about learning the note business, she has her own money, she has an MBA, she has been in RE for years and owns rentals.

The $2.7mm is not the total amount of debt he will be allowed to take on, but he will find it hard to get a mortgage on any given property for more than that amount, given his net worth.A conservative strategy would be to buy a series of properties for about $3mm each, taking on debt of only about 70% LTV.He should be sure that the properties he invests in are professionally managed, and he definitely needs to have an asset manager like you watching over the property manager.Those are my two cents.Jonathan

Phillip I. has good advice - start going to some Meetups and networking, and trade off some of your other time commitments (watching tv, for example) and set up keywords here on BP . . and start reading it religiously as well as listening to the podcasts. 

So the parrot (an Amazon named "Cowboy", lol) had his own room with big picture windows he could watch all the neighbors walk by from.  

So my lady and I are looking at taking the next step and have started looking at houses.

I have already spent tens of hours reading, listening to podcasts, and watching tutorials on real estate investing- and am inspired.

I've watched a bunch of videos on the subject and I'm pretty confident I under stand the process.
