Currently, we are educating ourselves.

Anyway, I guess I'm getting an education and learning that small multi-families in a high density urban environment might be cash cows, but that they are not anything that I'd be comfortable making money from.  

My suggestion would be to do some research, get educated enough to be dangerous, and go from there. 

Make the most educated plan you can that will get you toward your goals, and START.  

Save as much money as possible and educate ourselves.

Investing in northern NJ is, in my opinion, great, but definitely requires city-by-city and, frequently, block-by-block knowledge of these areas to fully understand the area.Best of luck!

I’ve been educating myself not real estate for about 1 year now and actually would like to start.

They are considered equal to a medical device like a wheelchair or crutches.That said, you should educate yourself.
