I want to release the lien now so that I can refi or rework the original loan doc to reflect that I am sole borrower.

Thanks Paul, I've been inundating myself with various Bigger Pockets sources to get up to speed.

It was purchased with cash in the name of our business that's a sole proprietorship.  

There are no other houses for sale in our neighborhood right now and our next door neighbor got multiple offers on his house and sole for top dollar about four months ago so the area is well sought after.

My daughter is a freshman, so I'm new to this position, and this last summer we moved to a house on a couple acres in Katy, for the sole purpose of our kids going to Katy High School (I have a 6th grader, and pre-k, so I'll be involved for some time).
