You may be able to file a claim with the state licensing board against your agent for not requesting the extension, although you have to be able to prove you asked for it.

So I have tried to work with this tenant for several months and finally decided that I would issue the 15 days notice to tenant, this was done by a company who does evictions and all processes done appropriately;. notice was served, tenant had 15 days to vacate, on June 1st tenant would be considered a holdover and a writ of possession would be filed.

They told him that he could file a complaint and seek reimbursement from the city for damage to his property but then he would face fines for this and that along with possible prosecution to the point where he was basically bullied into eating the cost himself.
