My question is should I attempt to get a HELOC just to have some extra cash laying around just in case after the pandemic is over and some good deals come along ??

We are attempting to create a slightly above average rental as compared to the surrounding rentals and apartments.

@Niyi Odumosu I got 3 with one bank (fourth attempt was the one that got scrapped because of the $5,000 paper trail issue), then the one I purchased cash and refinanced with a HELOC, and then 3 more conventional with a different bank. 20% down with the first bank, 25% down with the second in order to get the lowest fixed rate.

Anything I should attempt to do about all the cracks in the sidewalk?

Hey Group,I'm attempting to close on a property in Baltimore City, but the sellers have not yet made a few repairs that were agreed to in the inspection notice.

This was after several attempts to raise money first and then go shopping, and I think it's a much easier approach.

I will definitely attempt to do cash for keys before going down the eviction road and add that to my costs.
