Even for the $3,000 payment, you would need to invest $300,000 in those terms and take on an additional $900,000 of debt just to bring in the $3,000 a month to cover your student loan debt and that is not even the $11,000 you would need to pay after special income based programs.That is probably not what you wanted to hear but I would just focus on staying in the broke college student mindset until you pay off your loans or I fear you will become the broke guy who should be 10 years away from retirement but just paid off your student loans and now needs to play catch up to get close to retirement.
