I've been reading others stories here on BP and thought I should join and contribute my ups and downs as well. 

Long story short, the idea came up that we may be able to leverage our money as group to buy and a large enough lot that already is zoned for condos and find a builder and put up 4 new condos.  

I always dread it when our units there go vacant because of the sad stories of some of the applicants.  

Hi, This is my first post...and am thankful for this website and all the members and their contributions.I have the chance to acquire a triplex (mixed use)Its a 2 story building on a small lot.Two units in the ground floor.

To make a long story short, cashed out on a duplex to deal another day.I'm back and I'm thinking more strategically. 

This book was truly inspirational and left me hungry for a deeper knowledge of real estate as an investment vehicle.  

The biggest mistake I see here is that most people dont tell the sellers the real truth about what they intend to do with their house, which is why you keep having to "make up stories" which should never be the case!

I was inspired to join the Bigger Pockets website after listening to the Bigger Pockets podcast. 

A part of the inspiration behind this was trying to solve a problem which was my mother needing a place to live.
