Like poker, if done correctly, real estate is a grind.

Rehabbing is a lot like poker.

NOI, CoC, ROI... all those things are financial metrics which can be calculated for any investment (real estate, precious metals, stocks, poker returns).Obviously the investments themselves will be quite different... mortgages, expenses, etc.

Which is well above the 10-20 range...... like triple digits above...

I don't yet have the expense numbers so I guess that's why several reports are showing 19 digit numbers (analysis over 10 years, the longer the time the longer the number).  

I like to have a change of pace on the weekends where I can focus on something in the realm of the physical world instead of just the digital one. 

These double digit year on year price increases will do that, and I refused to do a long commute.

I was so nervous, but I put on my best poker face and just observed how others handled themselves when bidding.
