In this age of communication innovation another visage point is the question that guides economics: profitability vs. need.I was once a big social-media buff but reconsidered (though it's still a great way to connect with those separated by spatial-temporal barriers).Personal socialization is inherently different than any business enterprise because enterprise is led by a measurable outcome.Lastly, many are running the error of not adding the labor/capital spent developing this new business "arm" into their overall question of profitability.

I've been looking for these answers and this is my first time using a social site.. hopefully you can help because I'm having difficulty figuring it out myself.

Seriously, I personally know a guy that has NEVER closed a short sale on his own, and he is all over social media talking about how much money he's made, and how successful he is.

You can't attach my social security, you can't attach a retirement pension I have, And you don't need a high priced lawyer to prevent that.because it's a law.

What I do is keep my expenses low (I try not to eat out or engage in general consumerism - and I have now realized that my gf that just moved in with me is more self sufficient than I realized and I am actually making money off cohabitating with her) and basically reinvest as much of my rental income and my day job income (which is still quite higher than the rental income annually - but not for long).
