I was constantly dealing with Director level and senior Director level personal and it wasn't easy to skip Company specific functions on short notice to go deal with Real Estate issues.

This is true even for the "liberal" media.It would help if citizens would/could read and understand the primary source material.

Occasionally if you are a nice guy, pitch the right plan....like I'm cleaning up the neighborhood and want to be a good citizen, and bring donuts and coffee to the people with the lien...every now and then they are nice back and might drop or negotiate with you...maybe 1/2...but I think that is more the exception than the rule. 

I live in the Santa Clarita Valley as well, I'd be happy to join, however currently I am in no place to start investing as I am still finishing out my senior year of high school and also finishing my real estate courses on the side. 

Here in my area where homes are in high demand, I've seen seniors sell their homes, use their profits wanting to buy a MFD home, pay cash for it, and use their SS and other income for paying space rent, utilities, etc.

Difference between newbie and senior investor:Newbie thinking from financial side on paper return.Senior investor think about capex/reserve/tenant/home condition.By the time he got third property and different kind of tenant or house issue they would forget about this question.The newbie investor keep thinking managing SFR is just like opening CD account.

2 multifamilies in different areas, 2 SFRs in different areas, a college housing situation, a senior housing situation, a retail building, a medical building, etc.
