Not expensive touches but unique, such as an embossed crest in a fireplace mantel or in trim moldings, a brass mail drop in the front door, brick or stone mail boxes, embossed concrete as stone work, house number counter sunk in an exterior beam, these can identify your work and with a good reputation will add value as a more sought after home than the run of the mill comps.

If they have an online service then you should celebrate because chances are they will at least allow you to look up by parcel number and will generally have you bill, with your name, and your mailing address listed.This will give you the most up to date details on who owns the houses your wanting to find.Get even more inventive and have somebody create software which automatically pulls this information and puts it into a spreadsheet for you =) That's the best.

The tax office is mailing the tax bills to the property owner at the property location address - they had no other address for the absentee owner.
