Sorry for the harsh lesson, but, you should not do anymore "...FU to the landlord..." type of stuff....and try to end this amicably as possible, or risk being even more expensive after adding your legal fees and the landlords legal fees and damages.Don't let pride or self-righteousness add more fuel to the fire, it only makes it sting and cost more.

An honest seller will not have a problem with that so long as the title company holds those keys until your check is accepted at the closing table.The lesson here is it’s always better to install your own tenants because you control the process from start to finish.

I've noted that if you give someone a tiny bit of leeway, they just keep expecting more.Renting out rooms teaches valuable lessons about humanity.I am currently enjoying having my house pretty much empty because the renter I have is never home, so I do know what you mean.
