My Rental is only 3 bdr, so if my family moves in there it will be a bit tight...But I will have no mortgage on it4) Buy cheap houses in the middle of nowhere that cash flow 300-400 per month...Anyway, I am lost and cant figure out what to do.What I know for sure is I am not sure how long can I handle my job, I cant stand it.

I chose not to do it because I may not even have the mortgage long enough to recoup those points (would take 7 plus years to recoup) I'd rather toss that into my reserves and reduce my capex or whatever lol

Similar to RRSPs, you can pay yourself out slowly when you are older to reduce taxation.Always good to check with an accountant to be sure what the rules and regulations in one's area is.
