My why is a little bit both of working on my own portfolio, and assisting others with the process of buying and selling.

Looking to start my portfolio while also managing properties that will cater to local university students.The university currently does not assist with off campus housing.

I would figure that you could essentially be labeled as just an assistance company (for lack of another creative term at the moment) to owners to do odd end jobs like virtual assistants do with taking maintenance requests, showing properties, preparing documents, etc. 

I pay more because I have 2 assistants that also have access.

@David ReardonIt is usually advised to seek assistance from an accountant/CPA to prepare the partnership return.

As far as training goes, you want to look for companies that actually provides you with hands on training and support from your broker so that if you have a question about a transaction, there will be someone to assist you.

Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, life insurance companies and banks, all know me now, and assist me understanding and underwriting my deals.
