That type of work (i believe) still beats a 9-5 job where half your income goes towards living expenses that aren't building your assets.  

I thought I could do it myself...I'm a handy guy...I painted the entire inside of the house in 2 a half days, finished it up in a weeks time...During that time, I lost a sale that would have made me lots of money...I learned my lesson the hard way.  

It'll be at half of its assessed value soon and doesn't need any work to make it rentable, but will need some repairs in the not too distant future. 

I planned to be there for the whole three and a half hours.

My plan is to finish school within a year a half and get a job so I can save up and buy my first property I plan to put 60-70% of my payche Into savings.

I am looking at an 8 unit building a few miles away that is listed at 440k.  

I've looked at many houses and made offers on a half dozen.

They have agreed to pay half the rent the first 2 months and pay an additional 50$ / month for the other 10 months to make up for my lose.
