Hey all,New to bigger pockets.Decided to join after many months of reading and learning from all the investors here.I have been offered a property in Jersey City and was wondering if I should jump on it.Not familiar with JC and was wondering if anyone on here could help me out.Its a multifamily(2 unit)3 bedrooms each that needs around 90k work .Owner is asking 310k...Its by Baldwin ave and Wayne Street...I am looking to flip it,but would be willing to BRRR.Any advice is appreciated..Thanks

Yvonne.20% is plenty for repairs and vacancy.I think that the city with no rent control is going to be best so I would choose Vallejo.

I didn’t have luck with that but did a general search for my city and “group” or “meetup” and found a local group right here in my town.

But if you are working with no margin for error and something goes wrong, you're in rolaids city and all the progress you made on your plan (and maybe even more) is suddenly at risk. 

Best thing to do is to go into the city planning department and talk to them.

If one or both of the buildings burn down, will the city let you rebuild both buildings, or will you be limited in what you can put on there?
