Do you target certain types of property on which you prefer to lend?

Stay for a year and then head back downtown where we prefer to live.This all happened within the last 5 days, so a bit of a whirlwind.

I have a local mentor who is busy and has offered to help, but he prefers I do most of the research first (which I think is the right way to do it).After finding a few of the wrong lenders and running through many scenarios we have a pre-approval where my husband and a friend are on the loan.

I have even switched over to their preferred insurance provider which is much more expensive and we are still stalled over insurance.  

I personally prefer classroom vs online courses if your schedule permits.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any good licensed general contractors that preferably have or are willing to work with a bank.

I think last month was also focused on wholesale which is not my preferred strategy.

That being said, they would have purchased my last flip but it didn't suit their needs size wise, so I believe we have similar tastes from a design standpoint.

I prefer multifamily but many people do very well with single family also.
