This is highly desirable price point for young professionals who desire staying in the city limits but need additional space for a growing family.Given the trade-offs the neighborhood may not provide the lifestyle many young single professionals desire in terms of easy accessibility to nightlife and the financial district where many of these professionals work during the day.

But I had an above average desire and commitment to make it work in my back yard.

While we have done one custom modular in the past, most folks who are building custom find the constraints of the modular build impedes their ability to create the design they desire. 

Prices depend on area, materials, and finishes you desire. 

The first house, a 3/2 I believe is the most ideal product to rent out and it's the most desirable for a family.

I'm thinking SD, if only by process of elimination, since (1) LA has rent control and (2) OC doesn't have very much apart from the less desirable areas of Santa Ana.
