Hi Ralph, I would look online at your county recorders website and see if you can get them online, if not, then I would go to your to their office physically and request the information.

Most of the information I found online for private money lending is related to lending the full amount for the house/renovation.

The screening can be tied right to an online application (which could be tied right into marketing / listing website) - making the whole process pretty painless.  

Find out if the team leader provides training, or if they rely on the online courses for training.
