There are some customers that I enjoy working for so much that I may continue to work for them well beyond the time i need to.

-I can continue renting to the current tenant, replace with another if needed down the line, and before the 5 year mark, put it on the market and sell my option, keep the difference as profit. 

You can do that by continuously evaluating your strategies and finding the “best one” for the current market conditions as well as having a diversified portfolio.Ultimately, it’s about financial freedom.

Technology goes out of style fast and it wouldn't generate any additional rent where I live.

But he has a lawyer now and states that because I sent him a lease extension before the Notice to Vacate, I'm legally bound to continue leasing to him.
