I'll continue to do some contract work (from home) that pays around $1k per month, will substitute teach at my kids' school, maybe pick up a bartending shift here and there because it's fun and nostalgic (waited tables and bartended my way through college and the first 2 years that I started my business), and will chase curiosity to find my next low stakes venture - hopefully something that I can start with my daughters - who are 7 and 10.

It works over time, but the problem I see there is that you are consuming junk as well as having to make decisions on what is actually valuable information.There are plenty of opinions on how to do such on Bigger Pockets, but a lot of those opinions are misguided or wouldn't apply to you.You can do joint ventures with successful investors.

What you are proposing is a very risky venture both legally and professionally speaking.

I have started and will continue to start small business ventures with my daughters, teach lessons on their level, bring them along on DIY projects for properties, etc...we'll see how it goes.
