A couple of hours later my thermostat started smoking and burnt up melting the plastic and leaving a mark on the wall.

I am looking to replace a smart thermostat on a 4 families building; currently, a 250,000 BTU furnace supply heat to entire building radiators.

The repairs were things like laying flooring to cover subfloor, replacing thermostat, patching a piece of drywall, painting 3 fascia boards, and a very small roof leak from a nail hole....very minimal work.

I went there on the 27th of December, and it was extremely cold in the house, so I looked at the thermostat, and it was on 64 degrees.
