@Barrett Dunigan That commonly happens about 90% of the thousands on the list 30 days before the sale, pay or make arrangements to pay and remove their property from the list. 

Whether it took $130 thousand, $130 million, or $0 does not matter. 

You'll lose to inflation investing here over time if you are one of the very few that consistently cash flow. 2 - the place will be far from turnkey and will require thousands to get Section 8 ready.  

Any thoughts on HOW TO - be able to EASILY get these escrow impound funds (which are thousands of $$) disbursed to us ???

No reason to spend thousands.

I've lost a couple thousand on inspections as well over the years.

Squeezing the architect costs to save a few thousand is pennies as compared to the hundreds of thousands coming by way of costs for construction (materials & labor), filing and inspection fees, etc.

I have had multiple incidents ruining my units.

My lawyer is hoping to argue that against them but it seems like the most likely route is settlement, which means I'm paying thousands of dollars for nothing.
