Does anyone know of some insurance companies where a tenant can cover their dog? I have been turning many folks away because of pitt bulls. My landlord policy will not cover that particular breed.

I met a potential tenant yesterday who balked at every requirement (extra rent for his pet, paying for the credit check/background search, online rent payment).

Then today October 17 he contacts me and says I have to give him a 400.00 pet deposit or get out I feel as if my own landlord is robbing me can he do this legally!!!
