Legal eviction and pets.
I moved into my apartment in January of 2018. I had a dog when I moved in. My landlord died his son took over the property and sold it in August! The new landlord moved me into a different apartment because mine was no longer habitable. During this whole process I had my dog. He told me I could keep my dog since I had it when I originally moved my old apartment. He knew I had my dog when he relocated me in October. I been in my new apartment 3 weeks even agreed to pay a rent increase. Then today October 17 he contacts me and says I have to give him a 400.00 pet deposit or get out I feel as if my own landlord is robbing me can he do this legally!!!
