I would just suggest you make sure you fully understand that process before you dive into it - because you can lose a lot of money fast if you don’t know all the ins and outs.Likewise, rehabbing isn’t always straight forward… like who will do the work, permits, contractors, unknown damage you may not have accounted for - especially in a foreclosure where there usually isn’t the ability to inspect the property.We’ve done several flips we won at auction, and lost plenty of them in the bidding.

Just find out the city ordinance is required if you rent any unit for 180 days or less, then you need to pull a permit.

That's my best advise on it.It is quite common to have issues with permitting or with the removal of tenants so the lender will understand if that's what's going on.

Hello, I need some advice and TIA.Bought a house and got ah stop working order without doing any work, went to the city previous owners did work with no permits city told them and they did it anyway and sold the house even tho being notified.
