I have often stated there are two ways to make money in Real Estate....The California method and the Texas method (I certainly understand there are many more ways to look at investing but I am OVER simplifying).  

To avoid going through the same poor experience, keep reading.Even if someone gives you a referral here, do NOT make the mistake of assuming that the PMC will meet your expectations, just because they met the expectations of the referral source.In our experience, the #1 mistake owners make when selecting a Property Management Company (PMC) is ASSUMING instead of CONFIRMING.It's often a case of not doing enough research, as they don't know what they don't know!

I have units without washer and dryer and they rent fine but I found myself showing to people who really wanted the washer dryer way too often so I do put that in the ad and review it again on talking to them.   

But investors need to be paid, new parks need to be purchased and the experience of others in our situation (and in the research) has shown that improvements and concerns of tenants come last.  

Just be advised that I don’t check/see my BP messages very often. 

I often see him comment on threads where Costa Rica is mentioned saying that Costa Rica isn't a good investment compared to the investments that he does for himself and others in countries like Mexico.

ST rentals are much more profitable and command cash flows are often higher than in the US if you buy the right property in the right market.As an international investor, I find Ladislas Maurice interesting but there are different types of international investors and most international investors I know wouldn't go through the hassle of what he does for the kind of returns that he gets.

I sat in on a lot of the meetings with owners/city and it seems for the most part to me, the city is just not interesting in AirBnB and as an investor, that's not a good place to be or be right.There will always be probably a few people who skirt the law or think they have a good workaround, but often catch 22. 

Keep in mind that a slower pace is often normal for this season, and things usually pick up as we move into spring.
