International vacation rentals

Mark Hafner
Posted

Does anyone have experience investing in international vacation rentals? I'm considering looking at some properties in Western Europe e.g., Portugal, Spain, Italy, etc. and it would be great to connect with someone who has already done this. Curious to hear the good, the bad and the ugly from multiple perspectives.

The regulations are different for each country and most will not cash flow as an out-of-country investor. If you want to learn more about each country, look up The Wandering Investor, Ladislas Maurice. He has tons of videos on each country and the viability of the asset for people buying internationally.
