Definitely helpful.I got a lawyer who did overcharge me a bit but the tenant left the property spot clean.

If I choose the rental, then all income generated will be taxable income moving forward, because none will be off-set by the interest I could deduct.  

I know there are a lot of very experienced investors here in the country who have been successful for a generation or so.

LTR tenants are required to have the home professionally cleaned. 

I did a check on a guy 10 years ago came up clean as a whistle on my landlord association screening service.

Early on, rents would remain market-aligned to ensure the portfolio generates the income needed to cover expenses, pay investors, and reinvest in expansion.

My current brokerage does not help generate any leads or anything like that.

On 1/2 price days I spend $250 and get nice clean clothes only with retail value of around $2,000.  

Just be the absolute best host you can be for the first year -- communicate clearly and quickly, make sure cleaning is top-notch, make sure all amenities work (hot tub is hot, TV remotes have batteries, etc. etc.)

I’m exploring the idea of turning it into a furnished long-term rental to hold onto it, generate income, and possibly return to STR when things settle down.However, I’m new to the furnished LTR space and would love advice!
