I've been looking to take the RE exam and hang my license with a broker in MD while working part time and to facilitate investing.

@Mike Haworth I used to do short sales, as an agent and as an independently paid facilitator.

They steal stupid stuff like people's flip flops. they party late into the night on weekdays. they behave as if residents are there solely to facilitate their good time and buttonhole them for information and directions when they're out walking their pets. they tailgate at the beach access because the hosts are too cheap to pay the association dues. they trespass on resident's property to fish and sightsee then become belligerent when asked to leave. etc etc etc.It really does degrade the character of the neighborhood and the experience of living here during the high season.  

If they can rent from someone else do what you can to facilitate that. 

Maybe offer a facilitator type service initially for a fee.

@Kevin KeatingI’d recommend looking at STR on the popular platforms in your desired purchase areas and just send messages asking who the agent was that facilitated the sale.

You want to facilitate the type of recreation your area supports so if it is beaches don't forget beach chairs,  You are basically hosting 12 vacations a summer.
