Renting my house for next summer

Michael Murphy
Posted

Hi everyone, this will be my first time getting my feet wet entering the real estate market as a landlord. I already have a few ideas on how this is supposed to go but very overwhelmed as I’ve lived in my house for years. So besides cleaning my house out I’m looking for other tips and tricks to make my summer rental house a success. I bought an rv to stay while the house is rented out over the summer. It’s pretty open ended so anything would be helpful as I’m just shooting from the hip right now. Thank you

I appreciate all the feed back thank you.

Do you have any ideas regarding tax right offs or starting an LLC? Or would this be covered under the STR?
