There was a guy on BP who tried to get one going down by Colorado Springs awhile ago called Bonsai Village and got as far as buying the land, but could never get permission due to NIMBY neighbors  and it got stalled in legal red tape until the  land eventually ended up being foreclosed on and turned into open space.

Eventually it will happen. 

My goal is to eventually move out of my current house hack which is in the center of my small town and very visible to something more secluded.

They like the idea of owning this property as a rental and then eventually having it for a family member to retire in since it is one story and in eye shot of their current home. 

A few deals fell through because of varies reasons, but ultimately we had tons of action on the houses and eventually found the perfect buyer.

My hearing is kind of bad tooI think I will be good at and enjoy it eventually.

You might actually find you love the feeling of letting them go and eventually get rid of them all.

However I will eventually need more volume and what  I'm doing is not really scalable. 

So I’ve since blocked off the third floor on one side and rented it as a 1 BR for now. but when the other side leaves eventually I’m starting to lean towards raising the ground grade 28” so that the total drop is less than 20’and then I’ll knock down some walls and make the whole 3rd floor attached only to that last unit so that the whole area can use the stairs and that window as second egress. 

I've been working under a friends GC license and now working on getting my own.I am currently house hacking my invest property, the main house is rented out and I live in the unfinished back unit in the back that will eventually be a DADU.
