My wife and I do own a couple of buy and hold properties in the north western suburbs of Chicago.

I am focusing on wholesaling multi-family Class B & C properties, in c+ areas, no war zones, between 5 and 50 units, with a value play to them like high vacancies, deferred maintenance, improved management, repositioning, or rehab in Western WA.

For parking and driveways you will most likely need a small (7.5' western is great) plow mounted to a decent sized trucks (f250 and 2500 would be good for small lots).
