If they are equally safe, then I'd choose the roof that fit your budget accordingly.

If they choose not to move in, you keep the fee.

Having vacant properties tends to eat way more $$ than dropping the price a reasonable %...especially when you are renting for $2400/monthI tend to try and be a little under market says it will bear...... yes I may leave some $$ on the table but I get a larger pool to choose from to select the best tenant out of the bunch...and better tenants tend to cost you less in the long run, so you actually make more $$ over the long haul

Even with all the changes happening you still want to pick and choose your spots especially since you’re starting out.

There is likely multiple paths so choosing the path that fits YOU is critical. 

Or they can drill a hole through the closet in the master bedroom so the network cable can be routed from outside and the modem hooked up in the master bedroom.The whole point of doing this is to secure a modem and router in the master bedroom since my friend will Airbnb the unoccupied rooms but doesn't want to leave the modem/router in an unsecured location for security.1) If she chooses to route the network cable from the closet, is there a good way to lay down the cable so people don't trip over it? 

I'd lived there before and loved it, but one of the things that made me choose Nashville was that it has so many of the good things Los Angeles has to offer in terms of entertainment and good food, etc. but on a much smaller scale!
