You are spot on regarding the areas - the buildings in downtown just off base (76541) are going to be very tough, D class at best.

Ranch Penasquitos (PQ) and Rancho Bernardo (RB) are nice, but expensive spots on the I-15.

SO I am now assuming 21 spots total with no expansion.Expenses - He stated the $250 was lawn care, gravel maintenance when needed, and he also pays Roto Rooter to clean out the sewer lines every quarter as a courtesy, but this is actually not necessary since it is city maintained sewer.

Hey all, I looked at a duplex recently where the floors in back section had sunk approx 4-6" and pulled the wall with it in some spots, looks to be sinking towards the middle of the back section.

Be ready for tenant calls regarding cold spots in the building from time to time.

Visit the local hot-spots and talk to every single person you meet and you can just tell them you're thinking of moving to the area and asking them what the town is like.

@Maximilian Marck, yes they are:-they are called: you spot a good renovation/construction project around you, you go there on a Friday night with couple boxes of pizza and couple pop boxes, and tell them you just want to learn to be more handy and to "learn the ropes" and they will take care of you (if they see motivation!)
