Hello,I am considering selling my owner-occupied multifamily home as I need to move OOS due to a job change but I am not too sure when I will sell and odds are I may not sell.

However as Colin mentioned, there are tough restrictions here especially needing the property to be at least partially owner-occupied in order to rent for less than 30 days legally.

The 4 plex and mobile home are currently tenant occupied.

My specialty is in investment property financing, from fix and flip up to large balance commercial financing but I also have experience in conventional owner-occupied residential deals as well.

I think you need to look at what the interest rate is currently and what it would be for a non owner occupied property.

There are tenants occupying both houses on the property that I’m trying to house hack.

Other business structures are less expensive but I don’t know as much about them and what I’d need to do to keep them up each year.We have purchased 2 of our houses personally with owner occupy loans and our latest one with an investment property loan.
