Hi BP Fam,I've been listening a lot to Michael Blank's podcast, and have read his book "Financial Freedom with Real Estate Investing".  

Compared to building several homes on a lot to sell, there are very few contractors that build apartments to hold and rent with the exception of when an investor actually wants to build, rent and hold.The reason most contractors don't build rentals to hold is because rental income barely keeps up with inflation.

Has anyone bought a lot to turn into RV/boat storage?

I am in the same boat and this gives me a lot to go on.  

@Pearce Trenary - Yea there is a lot to learn, and there is some value in the beginning with having face to face time with your cleaner and handyman.  

My point is the builders in the Pigeon Forge market were pretty much all including a furnishing package aka ready to rent on close deal and now a lot to them are not.  

There's a lot to consider when you're looking at real estate investing and you have to decide what types of properties fit your investing style.

Meaning you have to have enough space on the lot to not have to tear down the existing structure. 

that is about the number i had in my head but it seemed like a lot to add on to the rent,  plus the utilities, made it seem ridiculous. i know they are trying to save money on hotels as that is what they are currently having to do for the guys.
