It’s called sharing... yes your intentions are more then just renting a happy home together and you want to make a profit but if she’s living there with you she should be paying something.

Hello everyone,I am situated in Montreal and looking to buy my first property.Having read several posts by other BP members in Quebec it would seem that most properties on the MLS are ill-suited for returning a profit.Does anyone have any tips/tools/tricks for finding off-market properties in the Montreal/Laval area?

Also, the tenant assuming liability for damage probably does not cover damage caused by the landlords intentional actions or by their negligence.

Generally the intent of that would be for actual fire or major flooding, roof or floor collapse, or similar dramatic incident.Turnovers are a separate issue, and we always coordinate closely with the Owner depending on the level of work needed.

Keep in mind that you will need to have the “intent” of moving to the property you want to buy.
