You'll notice Australia and European regions use the term "holiday homes" or "short term let" instead of vacation homes and short term rental. 

I started in Nov2018 in search of local and online vendors/deals.Buying at a holiday time was also a benefit on top of the Lowe’s QSP pricing (anything over $1500) they gave me a very good discount.

With the holidays coming up, that's probably not a good idea.The problem is, when renting to family, you need to treat it as an arm's length transaction.

This process is also not something I see myself being able to easily navigate in December due to starting a new job, kids on winter break, the holidays, etc.

It was recently revealed that she has also built a holiday house with in the school, which she visits regularly.Now, the amazing thing is that I own land literally across the street from where she is based.

Many folks give up looking during those off market times, such as NOV-JAN through the holiday period.

Assuming the eviction for non-pay goes well, I should be able to take possession about 3 weeks earlier than otherwise, perhaps more considering the holidays...Thanks again everyone, I'll be sure to post a follow up as we progress.
