But given yours is likely a 800-1000ft2 place, you would need north of $2/ft2 per month.I also think that corporate rentals are going to be in much more demand in high demand area's like downtown or right near a major employer (Think University Medical Center).I tried renting a condo in a different city as a furnished rental, it was a struggle. 

Someone I'm close with has a BS in Finance from San Jose State University and has been running a family own business for 9 years since he graduated.

I am finishing my first two years of community college in the spring and I will then be transferring to a 4 year university in either Tennessee, North Carolina or Pennsylvania (where I currently reside).

Hey @Hank Sacco,My name’s Chauncey and I too have considered buying in (North) Decatur as it is close to Emory University and has a rental rate of 61%. 

Then I have the option to rent out the "affordable area" SFH to generate additional cash flow and get into multi-family after building that base of properties.I'm particularly looking at the Belton and Temple areas, as they are still relatively affordable, close to healthcare, university, and military jobs, and have access to major roadways.Has anyone started their investing careers in a similar way or involved in the greater Austin area?

I myself am not currently in Texas, however Kaplan University is a great nationwide online school for license education.

I know in other areas agent/broker is a universal term.
