However, of course even entry level SFRs are more expensive.There are plenty of affordable 2/2 condos in areas less "sexy" than Miami Beach or Brickell that make solid long term rentals - near Florida International University; near University of Miami; other Miami suburbs where families = stable incomes want to reside.Hope this helps!

So once you place a tenant in there it should be pretty passive with some minor internal repairs.The downside is that the condo association could have a reassessment of fees and blind side you, they could ban renting out of units or restrict them (i.e. no short term rentals, can't rent out for more than 6 months out of the year, tenants need approved by COA), and just overall less control over 100% of your property.

My internal checklist has me combing the exterior for roof/gutter/siding damage, check the garage, inside check all flooring/ceilings/walls, how the house is heated, age of furnace/HWH, age/wear of appliances/showers/toilets, basement check for cracking walls/signs of water, attic - mold.What's this rookie missing?

Naturally, the company distances itself from some of those claims, but it reflects on the type of customer that buys into Renautus.Just for example, Renautus folks frequently post cardboard signs around claiming that if you join the program, you'd make $20k/month as an intern.

Might also look at Happy State Bank, IBC-International Bank of Commerce...if you need to go into a branch and if they have branches around you.I've been at BofA for 40 years, but the last two years have been super painful with them.

Just notice that many international students may not be able to get you a co-signer because their parents are overseas.Common Areas: I put a mini-fridge, desk, chair, bed in each room.
